Marilee's April Client of the Month is the gorgeous burlesque performer, pinup, and cover girl, La Bamboo Vixen!

"I love Marilee!" was her first reaction when I asked her to share some thoughts about working together.

"I learned about her through my time in the Bay Area, and decided to first work with her on promo photos!" Those initial promo pictures expanded into much more, including a stunning and unique cover set for Retro Lovely's Cassandra publication. That feature included a beautiful tribute to La Bamboo Vixen's heritage: a custom floral backdrop representing the national flag of the Philippines.

"Even when I lived overseas, I made time to see her to update my pictures. She always makes me feel fabulous and I love the atmosphere of her studios and spaces. I always feel very comfortable and relaxed instead of nervous. She has a great wardrobe and lots of choices! I can let her know my ideas and she executes them well with all her props and lighting and decor. I am really looking forward to working with Marilee again ASAP!"
